Explosion occured at Unipetrol Czech Republic Site

An explosion rocked a chemical factory on Thursday, 22th of March in the Czech Republic, killing six people and injuring two others.

Unipetrol, a Czech oil processor and plastics producer, said the blast took place inside one of the storage tank for fuels and additives in its refinery in the town of Kralupy nad Vltavou, 10 miles (16 kilometers) north of the capital Prague.

The explosion occurred after an electrical short circuit in an empty tank ignited flammable vapours durng hot works performed by contractors.
